Horny Tails Comics

To all of you celebrating today, and to all of you who aren’t, have a wonderfully superb day! Love you all and hope this holiday season is treating you all well.

I don’t have any art today, because, quite frankly, I forgot it was Christmas. New year’s my big celebration, so I’ll do my best to have something nice for you all then.

Added a little drawing! From the upcoming intermission comic, featuring the little ladies.

Man, this comic has been boring lately—I’m sorry! It will get interesting soon, but, you know, not for a few strips.

This is my plan to tackle that. First off, this lengthy arch is broken into two parts, because it’s really freaking long and I get bored of it. Second, I want to make a story with the girls, because they’re great and they, unfortunately, do not have a lot of ‘screen time’ yet.

When I take the break from this arch and go to the other short bit, I will change the format. I tried for two years to make this strip-format work and it just does not for me. I have no idea how to get the story moving in this way, because my story-telling is a very slow and tedious pace, op.

From then on, the comics will be drawn on regular comic-page sizes but half a page will be shown a week—or maybe two halves in one week, I don’t know yet. Hopefully, this will give me more space to do something. If that doesn’t work, then I’ll push it up to a full comic-page, but then I have to re-work my schedule on how and when I work on these things, because I still have the more-important-to-me comic Aj Řomale thaj Šavale.

I don’t want to give up on Horny Tails. I will try to make this frustrating thing work.

Thanks everyone who expressed concern and sent help my way! I found out it was not an issue with the WordPress update, or even ComicPress, but the theme itself (very strange). I updated and migrated from ComicPress to Comic Easel and everything seems to be running smoother and quicker.

Now I just have to figure out a nice colour scheme when my eyes aren’t so sleepy.

Also! Horny Tails now has a Twitter account – yipee! So, follow us on Twitter where you will get updated on when new comics are updated, and any minor news on sites or art, etc etc.

Another small thing is that there are now links to Twitter and Facebook, as well as a more visible RSS button in the top right corner above the comic.
